Klopp’s favorite Sofyan Amrabat set for Deadline day move

Liverpool

Liverpool are struggling this season and their bad reign of form still continues. This Sunday, the Reds were knocked out of FA Cup by Brighton.

Now the news surfaced that Liverpool target, Sofyan Amrabat is set for a massive deadline-day move to Barcelona. His recent exploits in this year’s World Cup won him accolades from all around the globe.

Amrabat was born in Netherlands and came through the academic ranks of Utrecht before joining Feyenoord in 2017. But he opted to play for Morocco at the international level.

He played a crucial role in Morocco’s steller World Cup run as the team reached the semifinals for the time in history.

His performances at the World Cup are underscored by his statistics: he has made 143 successful passes with an 87 percent success rate, 33 recoveries, and six interceptions.

MOVE TO LIVERPOOL LOOKED EVITABLE

Liverpool looked quite interested in Amrabat following his stellar performances for his country. The Anfield manager even met his agent.

But, Barcelona will now attempt to sign Amrabat before Tuesday’s transfer deadline passes, according to journalist Gerard Romero. It will only be a loan deal for the rest of the season.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Amrabat didn’t show up for Fiorentina training today.
