Liverpool are ready to pay the release clause for Kim Min-jae. According to various reports the Reds are ready to bring the player to Anfield. Kim Min-jae is currently playing in Serie A at Napoli. Other Premier League are also linked with the player. Clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in the player. News reports claim that Liverpool are keen on bringing the player to Anfield. Furthermore they even look ready to pay the release clause for Kim Min-jae. Napoli have set the release clause for the player for around €70m. The Reds are willing to pay about €5m per year for the player. Liverpool are willing to pay the full release clause in installments. However nothing is set on stone as of yet. It will be interesting to see how things turn out for them

Reports suggest Liverpool interest regarding Kim Min-jae

Journalist Ciro Venerato have reported about Liverpool’s interest in Kim Min-jae. The journalist told, “Dialogues with his entourage began several weeks ago. Napoli are willing to offer €2.5m/year + €500k in simple bonuses to the defender. Possibly getting rid of the release clause as well. Focusing on the will of the player, who is very attached to the team and the city. A way as any to keep him at least another season. The agency that takes care of his images and interests are much more venal and are offering him to various continental clubs.” He further added, “Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG are the ones most interested in the Korean. Ready to guarantee him €5m net per season by paying the release clause, which fluctuates between €50m and €70m.”

Kim Min-jae have been a rock solid defender for Napoli this season. Moreover Napoli are currently cruising towards the Serie A title this season. Furthermore Napoli is currently also competing in the Campions League and therefore could even end up winning that. The Reds would definitely look to re-vamp their squad after their disastrous season in the Premier League.
