Liverpool are looking to offload Mohamed Salah for hefty money to a club who is already interested in the Egyptian.
This season has been disastrous for the Reds and Jurgen Klopp already giving hints of “Total Rebuild” at Anfield. Due to which , Liverpool are looking to make serious changes in the squad and might sell a few players in the summer transfer window which may include Salah.
The major issue with Klopp’s squad is their current midfield. James Milner, Jordan Henderson, and Thiago are currently struggling with their fatigue, and injuries to some players have made their life miserable. However, Klopp tried to sign Aurelien Tchouameni last summer but failed as the Frenchman joined Real Madrid.
Liverpool suffered a huge defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League as for the first-time Reds conceded 5 goals in a European match at Anfield as Salah scored a goal.
The reds are currently sitting in 7th position and their Champions League spot looks in danger. If they fail to qualify then Jude Bellingham’s deal in summer looks in danger. But Build’s Christian Falk reports that it won’t be a problem:-
“As you see in the Premier League, they’re not massively far away from the Champions League places but it’s important to note that Champions League qualification isn’t a deal-breaker for Bellingham. Of course, it wouldn’t hurt Liverpool’s chances!”
But recent reports from Spain suggest that Liverpool are looking to ditch Mohamed Salah.
As per BBC’s Monday transfer gossip, Salah might be willing to leave the club in the summer and the reason behind is Liverpool’s low chance of qualifying for Champions League football, next season.
Salah is eager to perform on the highest stage and due to this, he might opt out of Klopp’s Rebuild. Moreover, their is a drip in his recent form is one of the factors behind his sale.
PSG ARE INTERESTED IN SALAH
The Egyptian’s next possible destination look like Paris Saint-Germain F.C(PSG). The French Giants are looking for a striker if Lionel Messi and Neymar depart next season.
Italian Journalist Rud Galetti recently reported that PSG have already contacted Salah. In January, PSG President Nasser al-khelaifi was spotted with Salah in a meeting in Doha.
Salah’s market price will be huge yet advancing age will be an important factor. However, PSG are willing to pay £80 million to sign the forward, as per Spanish reports.
But it cannot be confirmed whether these Spanish Sources are viable or not but there are some speculation in the air about Salah’s departure in the future.
