Liverpool are recommended “ideal replacement” if Jurgen Klopp leaves Anfield in the future.
Jurgen Klopp’s contract expires in 2026. He had a stellar run with Liverpool since his arrival in 2015 from Dortmund. The German manager led Liverpool to Champions League glory in 2019. He also won Premier League in 2020, Carabao Cup, and FA Cup in 2022.
But his glory years has been cut short by this season’s misery. The reds are currently sitting in 10th position and 11 points behind the top four. Jurgen Klopp’s job is under a lot of scrutiny.
And now, Ex-Gunners Charlie Nicholas has found an “ideal replacement” to inherit Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool. He recommended Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou to replace the German in the future.
Postecoglou joined Celtic in 2021 and led his team to both Scottish Premiership and Scottish League glory in the 2021-22 campaign.
Nicolas wrote for Scottish Daily Express :-
“I am not a Liverpool fan by any stretch of the imagination but I would be concerned about the possible impact managerial change at Anfield could have on Ange Postecoglou,”
“I know the Liverpool fans don’t want Klopp out but what happens if he turns around and says enough is enough? Could Ange for Liverpool become reality?
“Ange will have ambitions as well. Yes, he is at a top club but would a big club in a big league have even more pull?
“I hate to say this because I know a lot of my fellow Celtic fans won’t like me saying this but Ange would be ideal for Liverpool.”
But the Liverpool board has still put faith in Klopp and they also believe in his quality and experience. The German has already proved himself at Anfield and will like to continue managerial life at England.
