Liverpool continues its failed transfer streak as Gravenberch rejects offer

With only three players added this transfer window, Liverpool turn their view towards Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch. However, Hollywood refuses to release the young man.

Liverpool barely made any use of the current transfer window, with no more than three new signings. Those being non other than Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, and Wataru Endo.

The club already lost several chances to make additions to the team.  Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo for example were the anticipated replacements for Fabinho and Jordan Henderson. However, both decided to try their luck with Chelsea.

With Fabinho and Henderson playing for the middle east, and the anticipated replacements leaving for the Blues, the midline remains in a sorry state.

And with the transfer window nearing its end, the Reds seem undeniably desperate to make new additions to its ranks. Indeed, reports suggest they are in the midst of negotiations with Feyenoord at the moment, with no developments as of yet.

Gravenberch : another failed Liverpool transfer

According to Tbrfootball, the reds have made inquiries regarding a certain Ryan Gravenberch, with a bid of £41 million. Still, Bayern Munich decided to refuse the offer which may not make sense to some.

The player’s current market value is marked at around £20 million. While a substantial amount, it is less than half the refused bid.

The 21 year old is an impressive specimen, praised by many for his remarkable talent. Something that may be affecting Hollywood’s judgement concerning him.

The doubles price also shows the lengths Liverpool will go to for the player. Making Bayern Munich’s refusal a likely gamble in hopes for a better bid, a gamble that might pay of sooner than expected.

Gravenberch is very adamant on leaving the club and his talent seem to be everything the Reds need, thus negotiations will most likely continue.
