Liverpool are preparing a massive £25m-a-year contract offer for Kylian Mbappe, according to recent reports. Mbappe has not yet renewed his contract at PSG and is unlikely to do so. This means that he will be a free agent next summer and many clubs will be hungry for his signature. Mbappe has been exceptional this season too, he has scored 7 goals and assisted 11 in his 16 appearances across all competitions so far.
Real Madrid are still the frontrunner to sign Mbappe but the Reds are looking forward to snatching the goalscorer. Liverpool are preparing a huge contract offer to lure him to the Premier League. Real Madrid is rumoured to be his preferred destination, but PSG turned down three massive offers for Mbappe this summer, including a record-breaking £189 million bid from the Spanish Giants.
A talent like Mbappe is very rare and nobody would want to miss out on that. He is just 22-year-old and is always in the talks of the best player in the world. He amazes the whole world with his skills week in and week out. The French international is also the first teenager to score a goal in World Cup Finals since the great Brazilian Pele. A World Cup winner at the age of 19 is a dream of almost every player in the world and he has lived that.
How Mbappe can join Liverpool?
According to reports, Kylian Mbappe is impressed by Klopp’s work and has admired his management. Liverpool also did not spend much in the summer transfer window which may have saved them funds to sign Mbappe. Although Liverpool usually does not go through with such big transfer targets, a signing like Kylian Mbappe is not to be denied. He will also be a free agent next summer which will make it easier for other clubs instead of Real Madrid to approach.
Liverpool can also offload some of their players in order to properly finance the transfer and approach other targets. James Milner is also leaving at the end of the season. This also frees up the number 7 jersey which Mbappe would be more than happy to have. Liverpool are currently in a better situation than Real Madrid in case of form. If they keep performing the same way, Kylian Mbappe can have second thoughts about his move to Real Madrid.

Liverpool are not known for signing big personalities. Although they are now considering their chances for Mbappe. They are also having trouble regarding the contract situation of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has also come in life at Liverpool and is also one of the best players in the world at the moment. It is not easy to replace a world-class player and if not replaced properly, they might lose a few years in the search of the right player or developing one. Instead, Liverpool are looking to get a quick fix with Mbappe if they are to lose Mohamed Salah.
