Liverpool left with another place to fill amidst Jack Robinson leaving The Reds

Liverpool are losing yet another expert coach in the form of Jack Robinson. Robinson has been the Assistant Goalkeeping Coach for the Reds since the past 6 years.

Many clubs will be keeping an eye on Robinson especially because of his added experience from coaching Manchester United and Leeds United. Jack Robinson partnered with Achterberg and Claudio Taffarel at Anfield, guiding the likes of Alisson, Kelleher, Adrian and other emerging goalkeepers.

Silverware followed Jack Robinson immediately after his appointment with Liverpool winning the UEFA Champions League in 2018-19 season. Jack Robinson played a vital role in establishing Alisson as ‘one of the world’s best goalkeeper’.

Robinson enjoyed further success. He helped the Reds in claiming their first league trophy of the Premier League Era. Liverpool also won UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup and Two League Cups with Robinson.

Jack Robinson isn’t alone: Coaching Crisis at Liverpool!

Alongside Jack Robinson, several other coaching staff are already set to leave Anfield. Andreas Kornmayer, Head of Fitness and Conditioning, is also ready to part ways with the Reds.

The Assistant Managers, Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Kraweitz, have also confirmed their departure. They will be accompanied by Vitor Matos, Elite Development Coach. Andreas Schlumberger is also expected to leave an year early before his contract expires. Meanwhile, Jorge Schmadtke has already vacated his position as the Sporting Director at Anfield.

Additionally, Claudio Taffarel’s future at the club is also under speculation. His position is expected to be clarified soon.

What will The Reds do?

Michael Edwards, Chief Executive of Football and Richard Hughes, incoming Sporting Director, are going to have a lot on their plate from the get go!

Incoming manager, Arne Slot, is said to bring Sipke Hulshoff, Assistant Manager from Feyenoord. Head of Performance, Ruben Peters and Technical Advisor, Etienne Reijen are also expected to join Slot at Anfield. Arne Slot could also consider convincing his Goalkeeping Coach, Jyri Nieminen to accompany him at Liverpool.
