Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher hopes the club can compete for the signing of Jude Bellingham

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has said that he hopes the club can pull off the signing of Jude Bellingham. The midfielder is the club’s no 1 target for the future transfer windows.

However, they will face competition from the big sides in Europe for his signature. Although, the club legend hopes they can leapfrog the competition.

According to reports, Liverpool have reportedly made Jude Bellingham their main target signing for the future transfer windows. The report also claims that they want to sign him in the January transfer window. However, they know that Borussia Dortmund will demand a very high price in January. There is also a chance that Dortmund will refuse to sell him mid-season for any price.

However, if the Reds continue their average form , Klopp might be forced to spend in January. There are also chances that the Bundesliga side might cash in on Bellingham’s form in the World Cup. One thing is sure, Liverpool are looking to freshen up the midfielder. Therefore, the club legend Jamie Carragher hopes Bellingham is the one to freshen up in the department.

JAMIE CARRAGHER HOPES THAT THE CLUB CAN COMPETE FOR THE BIG SIGNING

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher in an interview has said that he wants the club to go all out for the signing of Jude Bellingham. Carragher has also said that Bellingham will improve their starting line-up. Hence, he hopes that the club can offer the best terms financially for the England midfielder. However, he also says that he is aware of the interest of other European sides.

He also added,

” Well I’ve seen the links, of course, but I just hope they’re true.“No one knows, do they? But there’s no doubt that Liverpool will have a huge job in the summer, or whether that’s in January, in terms of reconstructing their midfield.“Just because of the age profile of a lot of the midfield players and also the fact that I think there are two or three players out of contract at the end of the season.

Liverpool will also hope to convince Borussia Dortmund to sell their main player in the January transfer window. However, the fee still remains an issue for all the interested clubs. The Bundesliga club are demanding a fee of 100-150m for their star midfielder.
