Liverpool man Ryan Gravenberch shares the difference between playing for Bayern Munich and the Reds. Liverpool signed Ryan from Bayern on the deadline day of this summer transfer. The 21-year has been a hit for Merseyside club so far this season and has now opened up on his life at the two clubs. He was mostly on the bench for the Bavarians last season searching for minutes. However, Liverpool have been using the services of Gravenberch at times by giving him a starting role.

Ryan has also been a part of Dutch club Ajax in his early days. Speaking to TNT Sports, he shares the experience of playing for three of the most historic clubs. He said,

“I didn’t play a lot last season, and I think if you compare that to now being in the Premier League, it’s a lot different to where I came from.

Everywhere you go it’s a little bit different. Here the intensity of the midfield is a lot different than at Ajax. At Bayern there was also a lot of intensity but here it’s a little bit more, also because of the Premier League.”

Although Gravenberch is doing really well for the Reds, he has struggled at times as well to keep up with the pace of games. However, it is also a due to the fact he was not given much gametime in Germany last year. It will surely take some time for him to optimise his maximum fitness level. Moreover, he is yet to learn about the physical demands of the fast-paced Premier League. Jurgen Klopp will surely be planning for some experiments regarding Ryan and his playing time. He will definitely become a finer player as the season proceeds further.
