Liverpool manager raves about his £67m goalkeeper Allison Becker

Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp brags about his goalkeeper Allison Becker. The £67m Becker was one of the finest signings of the club under Klopp. The Brazilian shot stopper is a huge figure in the club’s recent European and domestic success. Only a few signings have been better than him during the Klopp Era at Merseyside. Moreover, the German manager believes that Becker is the best goalkeeper in the world right now.

Alisson is without a doubt the best man especially when it comes to shot stopping. He has been the reason for Liverpool waving at the top of the league this season. Jurgen Klopp was speaking to Ben Foster in an interview with Amazon Prime Sport. Foster points out to the abilities o 31-year old South American saying he sets the standard for goalkeepers around the globe. Unsurprisingly, Klopp agrees with him daying he is fine off the pitch as well.

“The craziest thing about Ali is I would really say – I think as well he’s the best goalie in the world – as a person, he’s even better. And that’s so crazy.

When you see him, you look at him and you think I don’t want to have another goalkeeper. That’s it just now. That’s the goalie you want to have. He’s calm as you like. He’s really smart. A really good person. Wants to play each game. If I leave him out for whatever reason, he asks why. So he has this competitiveness as well. He has a real football brain so he thinks about things.”

The best part is that the Brazilian still got a few years left at the top level. There does not seem to be a reason for him not continuing from here. Liverpool are surely destined for some more years enjoying the services of their maestro. Though, it will not be something Caiomihin Kelleher will love to hear. He has been keeping lot pf patience as a backup to Alisson.
