Liverpool not interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans due to concern over his mobility, according to Football Insider.

The same outlet reported last months that Reds were having interest in the Belgian, although now it seems they’re no longer interested in the midfielder.

Tielemans contract is expiring in the summer and will available for free in the next transfer market. But rumours suggested now that he will not be coming to Anfield this summer.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool were having interest in Tielemans. But now it is believed that Jurgen Klopp’s recruitment team has analysed that player is not mobile enough to play at Anfield.

Liverpool are in very much need to strengthen their midfield ranks in the summer. But surprisingly, they are out of the race for Tielemans.

However, the Belgian has proven his worth in the Premier League, with 41 contribution in 143 apperances. He is also currently on a modest £35,000 per week, which is quite affordable at Anfield.

He has also shown ability to come up with big moments in important matches for his club Leicester City. Tielemans scored the winner in the final of FA cup, two year ago.

But Klopp agrees with the assessment and it will be best if Liverpool looks elsewhere, despite the fact that Tielemans looks ideal target for the Reds.

Despite Reds moving out, Tielemans will gather interest from other Premier League clubs in the summer. Arsenal can opt in and buy the midfielder on a free transfer.
