Liverpool will host Leeds United at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday. Meanwhile, Klopp must be delighted that two of his injured players might be fully fit.

The German tactician spoke about it in the pre-match press conference. He confirmed that Thiago Alcantara will be in contention to start.

Klopp summarised the injury issues in his squad. Moreover, he also highlighted the fitness issues including the Spain midfielder’s possible return. He said (via Liverpool Echo):

“I expect Jordan Henderson to be okay.

Thiago will return too.

It’s still soon for Naby Keita and Matip is still out. You don’t have to ask about Diogo or Luis for a while.”

Liverpool is hopeful to resolve the injury situations

There is no doubt that Thiago’s return is fantastic news for Jurgen Klopp. Meanwhile, the return of Jordan Henderson will boost the midfield.

The Reds missed both of these two Liverpool midfielders in their recent loss against Nottingham Forest by 1-0. As a result, the Liverpool boss is hopeful that the Spain international will resolve the issues in the middle of the park.

Thiago had a very good start in Liverpool with a 67.09% win ratio. Meanwhile, he has lost only 14 games out of 79 games played for Liverpool.

On the other hand, Liverpool’s season is definitely not going the way they would have expected So, it remains to be seen if Thiago and Henderson’s return helps Liverpool to get back on track.
