Another chapter has been added in the Liverpool saga as Arne Slot is confirmed to be Liverpool’s next manager. Fabrizio Romano shared the claim in question on his daily briefing with CaughtOffside. The Reds and Feyenoord are still yet to finalise the compensation.

After Jurgen Klopp announced his departure this summer, it is a tough challenge for Liverpool to replicate the German’s success. However, after giving the legendary coach their best wishes, the Reds are back in the business. After bringing back their transfer window genius Michael Edwards, we can see some big signings coming this summer.

Arne Slot, as of now, did not show any preferences for the transfer window. He is privileged enough to have a young and firing squad ready at his arms. Liverpool also managed to keep their key players for the next season. Players like Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold all are reported to stay for next season. Liverpool, who won the Carabao Cup this season and nearly missed out on Europa League and Premier League, will surely look to improve for next season.

Mohammed Kudus can be first signing of Liverpool saga

Liverpool are now said to be rumored to be prepared to trigger Mohammed Kudus’ €98.85m release clause this summer. This, however, seems an unlikely eventuality given the clause doesn’t activate until 2025. Kudus became an instant favorite at West Ham and in the Premier League after his recent display of performances. The Ghanaian has amassed 7 goals and 6 assists in 32 Premier League games in 2023/24. His pace and dribbling skills made everyone fell in love with the player.

The West Ham winger remains on a long-term contract with West Ham, set to expire in 2028. However as David Moyes is expected to leave the club this summer, we can see many key players leave the club as well. Moreover we will see how the Liverpool saga continues.
