Reports suggests that Liverpool have submitted a official bid for Jude Bellingham. The Reds have been heavily linked with the midfielder for past few months.
Speaking to CaughtOffSide, Christian Falk reveals that Klopp’s side will continue to hold talks regardless with midfielders father. Falk said :-
“The biggest focus is still on Liverpool.
“There were rumours of an offer Liverpool made to Dortmund for Jude Bellingham but I’ve heard that no such offer has reached the club at the moment.
“But there is a reason – there are very concrete talks between Bellingham’s father, Mark, and Liverpool but both sides are not together when talking about money at the moment.
“Liverpool will first make an offer as and when they have an agreement with the midfielder’s father.”
Liverpool will heavily invest in the midfield this summer and due to which Bellingham is at top of their list. Bellingham is perceived to be the most obvious solution to what Reds are missing at the middle of the park. Intensity, innovation and defence cover are the missing attributes in their game-play.
This weekend’s defeat to Manchester City is prime example of it. Reds were thrashed 4:1 at Ethihad Stadium on Saturday. It also clearly show how far the Reds have fallen in compare to their Rivals this season.
Liverpool will have a busy summer transfer window and Klopp has also confirmed that there will be new signings for the next season. Other than Bellingham, Mason Mount and Jesper Lindstrom is also under their radar.
