Liverpool will look to offload 8 players this summer

According to reports, Liverpool will look to offload 8 players in the summer transfer window.

As per Football Insider’s reports, Reds are looking to same major changes inside their dressing room next season and some big names will depart from Anfield. Klopp has confirmed this in his interview’s numerous time in last few months.

Klopp will allow Joel Matip to depart from the club, if suitable offers arrives for his services. Reds will like to replace him with a new young centre-back in the summer.

Meanwhile, midfield trio of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Arthur Melo will leave Anfield when there contract expires in June. Liverpool need reinforcement in midfield Klopp admitted that it has to be the right player. He said:-

“We are looking for it”.

“If it is the right player, we need him. If it is not the right player, we don’t need him.”

“That changed, of course. I know we have had this discussion since it all started and I am the one who said we don’t need a midfielder and you were all right and I was wrong. That’s the situation.”

Two veterans, James Milner and Adrian are also out of contract at end of this campaign and Liverpool are yet to offer them new contracts.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino will leave the club after end of this campaign after eight years at Anfield. The Brazilian Maestro won all the silverwares under Klopp with his attacking partners Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

However earlier this month, Football Insider confirms that Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher expects to leave to the club due to lack of game-time. It is believed that he wants to become a first choice shot-stopper at a potential new club.

Liverpool are currently going through one of the worst season under Jurgen Klopp. Reds currently sitting in eighth position in the Premier League Table and have a tough chance of qualifying for Champions League football for next season.
