Dean Jones’ verdict on Liverpool going after Bellingham

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Dean Jones gave his verdict on Liverpool’s interest in Bellingham. He said:

“I think they (Liverpool) would be willing to break their transfer record to sign Bellingham. That would only mean getting to about £80 million, so it’s probably going to happen soon anyway given the way prices are.”

Liverpool have had a slow start to their current season. They are currently eighth in the League. The league leaders, Arsenal, are nine points ahead of the Reds. Liverpool’s lack of intensity in the midfield is one of the reasons that they are underperforming this season. Arthur Melo was the only new arrival in the midfield. However, he is a short-term solution to the jeopardy at hand. Many pundits think that Bellingham is a part of the solution to the midfield woes of Liverpool. However, the transfer will not be easy at all. Many big clubs will want to sign the player when he is available on the market. Only time will tell where Bellingham ends up
