Manchester City have added England teenage ace, Jude Bellingham, to their wishlist for next summer. With their midfield commander Fernandinho now 36 and only on a one-year extension, the champions hunt for a successor.

Borussia Dortmund star Bellingham has quickly emerged on City’s radar as a first-choice to fill that pivotal role.

Gaffer Pep Guardiola has identified the ex-Birmingham City teenage sensation as the best potential candidate across Europe for the job.

Manchester City face tough competition in Bellingham race

The former Birmingham City midfielder was quick to settle into life in Germany last season. He featured 46 times in all competitions and claimed 4 goals with 5 assists.

The teenager’s current deal with the Black and Yellow runs till 2025. However, Chelsea and Liverpool too have joined a long line of suitors planning swoops for the 18-year-old at the end of this season.

Manchester United also appear interested in the youngster. Nonetheless, they too will have to fight off clubs across Europe for his signature. Solskjaer, failing to invest in the midfield this window, might consider a move in the next one.

Unfortunately for all interested parties, Bellingham is happy in Germany and will not force a move elsewhere. On the flip side, Dortmund are unwilling to consider selling the midfielder.

Although, Liverpool are prepared to test Dortmund’s resolve with an £80,000,000 offer.

Klopp wants to bolster his midfield with a statement signing. The German believes that Bellingham is the ideal fit for his team.

Bellingham has 8 caps for England. The teenage ace already boasts 1 goal and 2 assists from 4 Bundesliga games this term.
