Manchester City Starting XI
Ederson – Ederson put in a solid display however could have stopped the Kamara goal. Didn’t have a lot to do once City started pouring in goals.

Joao Cancelo – Playing as a right-back, Cancelo looked quite shaky. Misplaced a lot of passes and lost possession. Should have started as a left-back.

Ruben Dias – Dias’s first start since his injury. Didn’t look like a player coming off an injury as he hold the defense. A solid display overall.

Aymeric Laporte – Laporte was at his usual best and with his partner, he was even better.

Oleksandr Zinchenko – Had a really good game today. Assisted Jesus opener and made a couple of decent tackles as well.

Rodri – Rodri keeps on performing at a young age and keeps on improving. Scored the third goal for City with a powerful shot that beat Ben Foster.

Fernandinho – A rare start for the Brazilian and capitalized on his opportunity. A solid game and his experience seem to rub off on the youngsters.

Kevin De Bruyne – Brilliant. Period.

Jack Grealish – Grealish is finally living up to his 100m fee. Certainly brings the X factor into the team.

Raheem Sterling – Was creative at times however was/is woeful at finishing at times. He wouldn’t wanna recall the 36th-minute miss.

Gabriel Jesus – Jesus was the star of the game. Finally showing City the striker in him. Scored 4 goals and an assist. Truly a man of the match performance.

Ilkay Gundogan – Made a good shot which tested Foster however Foster did manage to pull through.

Nathan Ake – Ake made a decent center back pairing with Laporte in the absence of Dias and made an instant connection with Dias.
