Manchester United feel they still have some business left in the transfer window. The Reds are reportedly looking to offload some names to fund further signings. As many as 6 players have been made available for purchase.
The Red Devils need to reconcile their books first before adding new faces. In addition to Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane will be arriving at Old Trafford. Solskjaer’s side continues to pursue Kieran Trippier and Eduardo Camavinga among others.
To make those deals happen, Manchester United need to recover £100,000,000 as they have already transacted deals worth £107,000,000 for both Sancho and Varane.
Full-back trio Brandon Williams, Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles could be sold or loaned out. The forgotten man Phil Jones could depart after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Daniel James and Anthony Martial are names that could appear on the chopping block. Returning from a loan at Lazio, Andreas Pereira still finds himself out of order and will likely be sold.
Jesse Lingard remains amidst rumours of a possible exit. Axel Tuanzebe completes the list of more sellable assets.
Tuanzebe has drawn interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle. However, Villa wants to make a permanent move while Newcastle struggles to agree on a loan fee.
As for Brandon Williams, a potential loan deal with Southampton broke down. Norwich City are now in the driving seat for a temporary move, but again agreeing on a loan fee is causing problems.
James was a regular for the Red Devils last term, making 26 appearances. Yet, with Sancho’s arrival, he finds himself pushed down the pecking order.
A big deal could be that of Pogba, who has a year left on his contract. PSG are looking to bring the Frenchman to his home nation. Nonetheless, Manchester United will continue to make an effort to agree on a new deal with him.
