Maxwel Cornet deals with another setback before his return to West Ham

Things seem to have turned from bad to worse for West Ham United player Maxwel Cornet. Maxwel Cornet have reportedly been dealt with another setback before his return to the team. The player joined West Ham from Burnley back in the summer transfer window. However, unfortunately, his West Ham career have been a shop show sin then. His career have been stop-start since he joined the Hammers from Hammers. Maxwel Cornet made his last appearance for West Ham against Wolves back in early October. Wolves lost the match against them in a 2-0 defeat. But at that time his injury did not look to be that serious. Cornet was expected to be out for a couple of weeks. However, four months down the line, the player is yet to return to the pitch.

Maxwel Cornet faces problems before his return to West Ham

It seems like things have gotten worse for the West Ham player. He has faced another setback in his attempts to return back. Maxwel Cornet had recently posted on his social media suggesting that he might be returning soon. His post suggested that he is close to returning back in action for the Hammers. But according to a reporter closely related to West Ham, Maxwel Cornet is suffering from a virus while he working hard to make a return to the team. The player have experienced some terrible luck since joining the Hammers. In the summer transfer window, he joined West Ham from Burnley. It looks like he is suffering from setbacks after setbacks at the moment. However, David Moyes is in desperate need of the player at the moment. Without Cornet West Ham have zero paces in the final third.

The manager therefore would want Maxwel Cornet to be fit as soon as possible. His return will surely help West Ham battle against relegation. Fans are hopeful that the former Burnley player would get over his virus soon and return back in the team. And when he eventually does return, he would be like a new signing for the Hammers.
