According to sources, Alexander Isak could leave Newcastle United this summer. The youngster is gaining attention from top clubs. Isak has been a significant player for Newcastle this season. The 24-year-old has scored 20 goals and given one assist in 29 appearances in the Premier League. Moreover, this performance has caught the eyes of various top clubs. Newcastle might be looking to sell the forward so they can raise some money to sign new players for the upcoming season. According to sources, Arsenal and Tottenham are ready to sign the 24-year-old for a deal around £100 million. Alexander Isak was a key-player for Newcastle this season
Isak really had a wonderful season under Eddie Howe. The Swedish forward was impressive throughout the season despite facing injury struggles. Many football pundits spoke highly about the youngster this season. Moreover, the Newcastle manager, Eddie Howe himself praised the forward.
When Eddie Howe was recently asked if he thinks Isak is a world class player, he said,
“I think he is, yes, I think he is. For me, I think the biggest thing is would I swap him with anybody else? No, I wouldn’t. When you look at his age profile and what’s to come, you look at his attributes and his qualities, he’s some talent. I think we should just enjoy his performances, how he’s playing at the moment.”
The Newcastle manager further added,
“He’s full of confidence, he looks physically in a really good place and I just think it’s a great thing to watch him play currently.”
Additionally, Isak doubled his goal tally from last season. The youngster has also gained interest from other top clubs across Europe. The youngster will also fancy moving to a Champions League club if he gets the chance and a deal works out.

It was a thrilling encounter, with Kobbie Mainoo opening the scoring in the 31st minute of the game. However, the game came to par in the 49th minute with Anthony Gordon’s goal. The Red Devils got the lead again after Amad Diallo’s goal and adding to that Rasmus Hojlund scored in the 84th minute of the game. The game seemed to end in a 3-1 win to Manchester United but Lewis Hall’s late goal made it 3-2. Although this season hasn’t been the best for the Red Devils, their youngster’s performances have surely been definite positives. Additionally, Man United stand the chance to win a trophy despite their miserable season. The Red Devils will face Manchester City in the FA Cup finals on 25th May at Wembley. Although, Man City are stronger at the moment and are also the favorites to win, in this game of football, anything is possible.
