The Arsenal legend has backed Manchester City to win the League again next season. However, he also expects Liverpool to again challenge for the trophy. He expects City to claim a fourth League title from the past five seasons. He expects Pep Guardiola’s side to win the league despite the departure of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling. The pundit expects Liverpool to challenge for the trophy in a close race.
He said, ‘Erling Haaland’s arrival is obviously a massive boost for Pep Guardiola, but it’s not the end of it with Liverpool still very much in the running. He expects Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United to fight for fourth place. Although, he expects Manchester United to miss the fourth place in the league due to a lack of signings this summer and the Cristiano Ronaldo controversy.
The Arsenal legend has tipped the Gunners to finish fourth place. He said, “If I had to pick one of the two north London sides, I’ll have to go with Arsenal.
