Paul Pogba agrees to a four-year deal with Juventus to undergo medical on Saturday.

Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement to sign midfielder Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer. He wanted to return to the Italian club since his release from Manchester United.

The player spent six years at Manchester United. However, he decided against renewing the contract. So, he has been a free agent following the expiration of his contract on June 30.

According to reports, Paul Pogba has agreed to sign a four-year contract with Juventus. The Frenchman is set to arrive in Turin on Saturday. He will be also doing his medical on the same day before finalizing the deal. Paul Pogba is reportedly keen on reuniting with Massimiliano Allegri.

Paul Pogba played his best years under the coach when both were previously with Juventus. The Turin club owners also desperately want him. They want Pogba to win the Serie-A title back from A.C Milan. He will reportedly earn around 8 million pounds a year. This is less than half of what he earned at Manchester United.

Paul Pogba has a great record with Juventus. He spent four years with the club between 2012 and 2016. He scored 34 goals and provided 40 assists in 177 appearances across all competitions. The midfielder won a total of nine domestic trophies with Juventus. The Frenchman was also linked with the likes of P.S.G, Real Madrid, and Manchester City. However, he is seemingly one step away from completing his return to Juventus.

As he is close to his 30s, the midfielder is aware this could be the last big move of his career. Another reason is the World Cup in Qatar this year. Pogba wants to be in top condition to compete for his country. Juventus are the only club that will give him regular game time ahead of the big tournament. He also wants to show the football media, that he can headline a team’s revival.

Pogba was unable to win a single at Old Trafford in the last five years. He has recently revealed that he is keen to show his former club that they made a mistake in letting him go this summer. However, some reports state that United were willing to offer Paul Pogba a new contract. However, he reportedly rejected the new contract.
