Pundit Robbie Mustoe claims that Diogo Jota is in the best Liverpool XI of Jurgen Klopp. The pundit claims that Liverpool winger should know be considered as one of the best for them. His goal against Burnley on his return day proves the quality he possess. Having the Portuguese back on the field is definitely a boost for the Reds. Pundit Robbie lauds Liverpool winger Diogo Jota
Speaking to NBC Sports after the game, pundit Robbie Mustoe said,
“I feel like Liverpool still are trying to find their best team, and Diogo Jota for me has got to be in it. His numbers are much better, he’s been out injured, he’s a goal scorer, he’s such a good player, a versatile player.
They haven’t figured out who their best midfield is yet. [Ryan] Gravenberch we saw a little bit today and we’ve seen other players with some changes in midfield today. If Liverpool can find an even better formula and stick with it, then I’m much more positive on them winning the title.
Although Jota is one of the most clinical finishers, his career is affected by injuries. When he arrived at Liverpool the Trinity of Salah, Mane and Bobby Firmino was well settled. Yet he somehow managed to make a place for himself. The 2022/23 season was a nightmare for him as he was injured for most of the time. This season is also looking as if the same is happening. However, he is one of the best to finish alongside Mohammed Salah. If he can continue to stay fit, Liverpool can have a short in the title race.
