Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano praises young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic as he considers him as a important part Liverpool’s future.

Writing on CaughtOffSide, Romano was discussing about Bajcetic’s future. The 18-year-old has impressed at Liverpool after bursting into the scenes at the start of the year.

However, Bajcetic has been out the first team due to fitness issues in this current campaign. And with reinforcement arrived in the summer transfer window, his regular game time at the Mersyside club might get hindered.

In this campaign, Bajcetic has registered only two appearances in UEFA Europa League and Carabao Cup. The youngster is yet to feature in the Premier League this term.

Hence, lack of regular game-time at the club might be open a door for Bajcetic in the January transfer window. With the likes Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch, his role at the club might get diminished.

Romano acknowledges the fact that breaking into Liverpool’s first team is quite tough job for young Bajcetic. However, reports suggest Reds haven’t made a decision to send him out on loan in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Romano claims Bajcetic holds huge potential under his belt

Discussing about the Bajcetic’s future, Romano said :-

“There’s also been some speculation about a possible loan move for youngster Stefan Bajcetic.

“He hasn’t played as much this season, partly due to injury problems, but he’s still considered an important player for present and future of the club, with Liverpool feeling they have a very talented prospect on their hands.

“It’s not looking easy for him to break back into the side with so many signings of course.

“But at the moment Liverpool have not made any decision on Bajcetic, so we will see what happens later this year.”
