Sebastian Vettel has put his 10-year-old Nissan GTR black edition for sale but beware it will come with a hefty price tag.
Sebastian Vettel has some news for his fans, which is not that much related to F1. Regardless, the four-time world champion is putting his ten-year-old Nissan GTR black edition for sale. The car is a part of Vettel’s private collection and has less than 150 kilometers on the meter.
GTR’s online listing states that the car is priced at a tag of €250,000 [£220,000]. Since it is literally unused, it means that the car is
“visually as well as technically an absolutely new vehicle, which represents a unique opportunity for collectors, especially because of the holder history.”
This black edition is a lot different from the normal GTRs of the time. The car has several additional features in the bag. From smart red-on-black Recaro racing seats to the spoiler made of carbon fiber to 20-inch alloy wheels from Rays. Further, the fact that this Nissan GTR belonged to F1 star Sebastian Vettel adds more value to its price tag.
The car comes packed with a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine under the hood. The engine is capable of producing a horsepower of 545 helping this beast move from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 2.7 seconds.
We will not be seeing Sebastian Vettel race in F1 anymore following his retirement last year. Nevertheless, this is not the first time Vettel is putting up his cars for sale. Recently in 2021, the ex-Aston Martin driver put up eight cars for auction most of which were Ferraris. The list included cars like a 2004 Enzo, a 2016 LaFerrari, a 1996 F50, and a 2015 458.
