Sergio Aguero has pointed out on one difference between Manchester City and Barcelona in training routines, while talked about Barcelona’s number 10 jersey. Aguero made a free transfer to Camp Nou this summer as his contract ended with the Cityzens. Aguero was looking forward to playing with his Argentine teammate Messi in Barcelona but all that is a dream now.
Messi left Barcelona after failing to sign a new contract with them due and La Liga’s salary cap rule. As result now Aguero is feeling cheated upon, however, he will continue with Barcelona this season. The forward is yet to make his debut for the Catalans as he is out on injury. But he may possibly come back fit in the last week of October or the first week of November.
And making his transfer to Barcelona he was asked about some differences between City and the Catalans via his twitch channel. The forward runs a twitch channel where he streams different games and reveals some news about him. And answering the above question he pointed out a difference between both the clubs training routines.
Aguero said, At Manchester City, we arrived an hour and a half before training and here half an hour before.” I said, well, I’ll come in at least an hour before and try and go to the gym or do some things. But nobody was there, it was all shut, dammit.”
Following this statement, it seems Aguero is not happy with Barcelona’s current training routine. Anyways we are hoping to see the forward making his debut for Barcelona as soon as possible.
Sergio Aguero reveals turning down Barcelona’s number 10 jersey
As Lionel Messi left Barcelona, everybody joined the conversation about who will carry the legacy of the Number 10. While all reports indicating that Phillipe Coutinho might be given that number after his number 14 was transferred to Rey Manaj. However, it was unlikely Barcelona giving the number 10 to the flop star.
But a few days back Barcelona officially announce that the number 10 will be carried on by youngster Ansu Fati. It seems a correct decision by Barcelona as the youngster could prove to be a world-class player in coming years.
However, as per Sergio Aguero, Barcelona offered the number 10 to him first before handing it over to Fati. But Aguero turned it down as he had no interest in wearing that number and fit in Messi shoes at Barcelona. Following which he will carry on number 19 which was assigned to him earlier by the Catalans.
