Andre

Portuguese outfit Sporting CP are out of the race for Andre Trindade, hence Liverpool now stand favourites to sign the youngster this summer.

As per reports, Sporting were to set to rival Klopp’s team in the chase to land the Fluminense midfielder. However, the Portuguese club has now resigned their interest, as his market value will now inflate.

According to journalist Pedro Sepulveda, Sporting have opt out of the race for Andre this summer :-

“Andre will not be a reinforcement of Sporting CP.

“Fluminense FC wants more than 20 million euros [£17m] for the Brazilian midfielder and wants to keep him until the end of the season – January 2024.

Portuguese clubs Benfica, Sporting CP and Porto have always scouted the best South-American talents. These teams also generates huge income by selling these players to Premier League club for a huge profit.

After Sporting opts out, Liverpool stands in pole position

The Reds now stands a clear chance to land Andre this summer, however Sepulveda claims there’s no official proposal yet :-

“Interest from LFC is real but no proposal has been made.

Liverpool still need to be little worried, as some times these South American talents have little difficulty to settle down in UK. The language becomes a huge issue as “speaking english” is not such important thing for them. For recent example, Darwin Nunez is someone who has struggled to perform due to new and unfamiliar surroundings last season.

These budding talents that’s why go to these Portuguese clubs where teams offers suitable atmosphere which help their game to grow and make them “The Next Superstars of Modern Football”.

Liverpool are in a serious pursuit for Romeo Lavia this summer, as they’ll launch third and final bid for the Southampton man this week. By chance If they fail, Andre can be another potential option for Jurgen Klopp’s new looked midfield next season.
