Jürgen Klopp is one of the best managers in the world right now. Having joined Liverpool back in 2015, the German manager has completed the entire title set with the Reds. The the most memorable achievements among which are the 6th UCL title and the club’s first League title in 30 years.
The Liverpool manager usually comes off as calm and a charming guy but we have seen him loose his cool on a several occasions. One such incident happened during his days at Borussia Dortmund.
When Klopp lost it during a training session at Dortmund
Recently in an interview with Goal.com, a former Dortmund physiotherapist, Thomas Zetzmann revealed the time he saw Klopp’s wrath. Talking about the incident, Thomas told, “The third goalkeeper, Zlatan Alomerovic, collided with a player. I was standing a good distance away with the ice box, but immediately saw blood running from his nose.” He then revealed, “You have to know that with Jurgen, you should only run onto the field when it’s really critical. He didn’t want to interrupt the game unnecessarily.” Further speaking, he told, “Zlatan was bleeding a lot. Jurgen, however, got upset about the interruption and just shouted: ‘Get up!’ And Zlatan shouted back: ‘What do you mean, get up? Don’t you see?’ No one has ever dared to do that in all these years. He said coldly: ‘What did you just say? You get up right now and go into your goal. Or do you want to go back to the second team?’ I tried to calm him down, but Jurgen was probably fired up due to the lax play and then also attacked me.”
However, later, Thomas revealed that Jürgen apologized to everyone for his behaviour.
Well, It’s fair to say that no one would want to encounter Klopp in his fiery state, he is much better when he laughs and is in a jolly mood.
