Tottenham are reportedly willing to sell Steven Bergwjin to Ajax as a part of a deal for Brazilian attacker Antony. Manchester United are also interested in the Brazilian international.
ANTONY-TOTTENHAM LINKS FULL STORY
Anthony enjoyed a strong campaign of development under Erik Ten Hag in 2021-22. The winger ended the season with 12 goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances across all tournaments. The 22-year-old found the back of the net eight times in 23 matches to help steer Ajax to the title. He also had a direct hand in six Champions League goals across seven matches.
Hence, a reunion with Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United is strongly linked. However, another report claims, Tottenham have now entered the race to sign the Brazilian international. They are also considering sending out of favor Bergwijn in the opposite direction. Ajax are also reportedly interested in signing Bergwijn. The Netherlands international has struggled for a start under Antonio Conte. He has also now publicly expressed his desire to leave. At the moment Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Ajax are interested in the Dutch winger.
SPURS AND ANTONY ARE A PERFECT MATCH FOR EACH OTHER
Antonio Conte likes to play exciting wingers. Antony is an exciting winger with his skills and goals. Antony has spent the last two seasons at Ajax. The attacker has banked 22 goals and 20 assists in 78 appearances. He also became an Olympic gold medalist with Brazil at the Tokyo Games last year. Whereas, Manchester United at the moment are doing their summer window business very slowly.
