Trent Alexender Arnold has helped Liverpool to qualify for the round of 16 knock-out ranges inside the Champions League. They eased past Ajax 3-0 in Amsterdam.

Klopp and his men should be happy with their overall performance in the important match. The Reds suffered a defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. So, Klopp might be glad that the uninspiring performances haven’t translated into their shape in the crucial match against Ajax.

Regardless of being far from domestic, Liverpool enjoyed extra possession and finished greater correct passes against the Dutch side.

The English giants had a slow start for the large majority of the first half. Salah found the back of the net in the 42nd minute.

After the first half, Darwin Nunez scored the second goal for Liverpool in the 49th minute. Meanwhile, Harvey Elliot killed the game by scoring the third goal 3 minutes later.

Trent Alexander-Arnold had a great match against Ajax. Moreover, like many of his teammates, he had a completely inconsistent season. However, he has played extremely well and dominated the right flank.

Over the 90 minutes, he had 88 touches of the ball. Meanwhile, he won 100% of his duels, made one interception, and cleared a ball off the line. He also completed 100% dribbles successfully.

Meanwhile, there is not much doubt that Klopp would be delighted to see Trent returning back to his form. Moreover, with the congested fixtures ahead, this would definitely give the German tactician a big sigh of relief.
