Tuchel set to raid RB Leipzig

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has some major rebuilding in front of him this season. With players leaving the very strength of his team has started to weaken. Rudiger, Christensen, Alonso, and Azpi’s uncertain future speaks a lot about the team’s current state. Sanctions imposed on the club added further woes to Tuchel’s team but finally, they can dream of better days.

Todd Bohely has taken charge as the new owner and has big ambitions for his club. Tuchel knows what he wants and would like to avoid transfers such as Lukaku. Bohely is expected to act fast in the market to escape these uncertain times.

The most notable position to fill in the void left by Rudiger and Christensen. Tuchel may give chance to young blood just as Tsalobah who’ve flourished under the game time they received. Christopher Nkunku and Josko Gvardiol are two players that Tuchel would like to see at Stamford bridge.

Who will Tuchel bring in to replace them?

Defensively long-term Chelsea target Joules Kounde is expected to be signed this summer. The French international will cost around 80 million in fees. This sum may look huge but it’s comparatively nothing to what he brings to the team.

Tuchel also has been looking to reinforce his front line this summer. With the transfer of Lukaku, Werner was expected to deliver goals but in reality, wasn’t that effective. Lukaku in a press conference publicly expressed his desire to be back at Inter. This had got the fans raging as of Chelsea and started to have a divided opinion of him. Inter fans were even more outraged with his actions as Lukaku promised he will not leave.

Raheem Sterling is another option who can play at all positions upfront. The premier league winner will cost around 60 million to sign but he can offer more than that. Most important being he’s a premier league-proven star who knows how to score goals and create chances.
