West Ham is focused on acquiring a “superb” £25 million player from Chelsea

Trevoh chalobah

Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea is being eyed by West Ham as a possible transfer target across London.

Due to injury, Trevoh Chalobah, 24, has been in sideline for the first half of this season. And now He has become something of a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge. However, the Blues defender has recently become quite popular in the transfer rumor mill.

This week, TalkSPORT reported that West Ham is reportedly following Chelsea’s Chalobah.

It is explained that what happens with West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd. Who is drawing interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, will probably have an impact on the Hammers’ interest in the 24-year-old center back.

According to the report, Chalobah is being watch by rival suitors, including Bayern Munich. Also, Chelsea are willing to cash-in on the player.

West Ham tracking Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah has recently been constantly associated with a possible departure from Stamford Bridge. We think that David Moyes’ West Ham team might be the ideal place for him to carry on performing well in the Premier League.

Chalobah could be able to leave Chelsea for about £25 million, according to a report from TEAMtalk last week. They added that there’s interest in the versatile English defender from Bayern, Tottenham, Roma, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.

Speaking via BBC’s Match of the Day last year, Shaun Wright-Phillips praised Chalobah as “superb” after a Premier League performance.

Chelsea does have a lot of excellent defenders in the squad, once everyone gets in good shape. Moving on from Chalobah in 2024 might be in everyone’s best interests because it appears that he would be much lower on the hierarchy in that case.

The Blues academy graduate would be a cash cow for the team’s balance sheet if sold. Although he is talented enough to play for the current Chelsea team, we believe his time in West London is coming to an end.
