West Ham are trying to sign Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic this summer. West Ham’s first bid worth €15m including add-ons was rejected by Frankfurt. Frankfurt is looking for a deal closer to €20m to sell the player. Kostic has just one year left on his contract. Kostic joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019. He was Frankfurt’s most important player in their Europa League campaign in 2022. Most notably, Kostic scored two goals against. Frankfurt went on to win the 2022 Europa League. Filip Kostic was the top assist provider in the season. Several clubs expressed their interest in the striker following this performance.
However, West Ham is the only club that has shown concrete interest in signing the player. Frankfurt have qualified for the Champions League this summer. To lure the player away from Frankfurt, West Ham will have to offer a substantial salary package this summer

Cornet plays a winger and David Moyes is a huge admirer of the player. He is a versatile player capable of playing in the left wing as well as in the left-back position. He is an alternative for the club in case the deal for Kostic fails
