Manchester City led their title hopes with a strong 5-1 goal parade scoreline against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week. Now, Wolves star Hwang Hee Chan drops his standpoint on one City star.
During his time with the Old Gold, the South Korean has made 92 appearances across all competitions and scored 22 goals. Moreover, his latest contribution was the only goal of Wolves against the defending champions. He is certainly one of the talents who will be bagging a big money move in the future for sure.
Wolves talisman on City striker
In a recent video on Wolves’ official Tiktok channel, the players at Molineux were asked to name the best players they played with. Speaking on the same, the Korean named Erling Haaland as the best. The Sky Blues signed the Norwegian for £51m from Borussia Dortmund a couple of seasons ago.
Before joining the Germans in 2020, Haaland was playing his time with RB Salzburg in Austria. During his time at the Austrian club, Haaland made 27 appearances and scored 29 goals in the process. The duo shared the pitch 17 times at the club pocketing a total of 11 goal contributions among them. Ten of those were assisted by the Korean and he scored one from Erling’s pass.
Having then gone on to score 86 goals in 89 appearances for Dortmund and 88 in 94 for City, as well as winning the Treble and breaking numerous records in his debut season at the Etihad Stadium, it comes as no surprise that the Wolves star has named his former Salzburg strike partner as the best he’s ever played with.
The lethal striker is still going strong leading the golden boot race with 25 goals. His side is still in the mix for the FA Cup and the Premier League title race. If he is able to wrap up all these again this season, he can establish himself as the best forward in the nation.
