Wright and Agbonlahor predicts the winner between Liverpool and Man City

Pundits Ian Wright and Gabby Agbonlahor predicts who will win between Liverpool and reigning champions Manchester City this weekend.

Both the sides have been the two powerhouse of the Premier League for the best part of a decade. On Saturday, they’ll meet for the first time in this current campaign.

However, both the clubs underwent some changes in the summer transfer window due to some huge incoming and outgoing transfers. Both sides have started their campaign brilliantly as they’ll be all focused to face each other this weekend.

Speaking on Stick to Football, Ian Wright predicted the winner of the weekend’s clash. He backed Liverpool to emerge victorious at Etihad on Saturday.

The pundit gave his verdict and said :-

“I’m going to go with Liverpool. I’m feeling a bit. I feel like defensively Liverpool should’ve conceded more by now, but the goalkeeper is amazing, and people have missed chances. I think with that midfield with Endo, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, with Salah in amazing form, I feel like this is a good one for Liverpool, I fancy Liverpool.”

Agbonlahor doesn’t agrees with Wright, as he backs Man City

Gabby Agbonlahor backs Manchester City to win the clash against Liverpool this weekend, despite Erling Haaland’s absence due to an ankle injury.

The pundit claims City still got the likes of Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku, who would still provide a threat to Liverpool’s defence. He said :-

“Even without Haaland you have Alvarez, World Cup winner.

“You have Doku, probably the quickest striker in the Premier League. Foden, Grealish.

“I still think it will be a win for Man City.”

Although City will enter the match as favourites, but Liverpool are currently the team to reckon with. Jurgen Klopp’s side has been in brilliant form with a newly formed midfield in this current campaign.
