Arsenal 16-year-old Louie Copley is currently training with the U-21 team. Many also expect him to play for the senior team in the next two to three seasons for the Gunners.

A number of people have compared his progress to the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe. Hence, it looks like the Hale end Academy is going to produce another top player.

THE PROGRESS OF LOUIE COPLEY WITH ARSENAL

According to reports, Arsenal youngster Louie Copley is currently training with the U-21 team. The good thing is he is only 16 years old. Hence, it looks like he has earned a promotion in his age group. The report also claims that it was a mix session of the U-18 and U-21 team. Hence, many have called it a big jump in his career. Many fans do not know much about the player. However, he is a great midfielder with top potential. Many have also called him one of the best young talents in Europe.

Hence, Arsenal will have to be careful with the development of Louie Copley. They will have to take care that no other European team or their Premier League rival snatches him off them. They have already seen it happen this season with Omari Hutchinson to Chelsea. Hence, the Gunners cannot make the same mistake repeatedly. The player also must not get over-confident about his ability. He should also know that Mikel Arteta is the perfect manager to progress his career further.

MIKEL ARTETA WANTS TO DEVELOP PLAYERS FROM THE HALE END ACADEMY

The Arsenal manager has made it clear that he would like to see more players develop from their academy. U-21coach Mehmet Ali has also said the same thing before the start of the Dubai camp. He said,

The World Cup is going on so they’ve got less players back and I’ve had fantastic conversations with our first team staff about who’s been doing well, who could be doing better and those conversations have resulted in (some) players being with the first team. Ultimately that’s what we want. “I’m in constant communication with first team staff.

Hence, it is clear that Mikel Arteta is keeping a close eye on the development of group players. This is because players like Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Florian Balogun, and Emile Smith Rowe have made the academy proud. They also have shown that the owners and the first team need to have an eye on the top youngsters in the team. Arteta also is not afraid to give them the chance. He has already included a number of youngsters in the squad for the Europa League matches before the World Cup.

Hence, Mikel Arteta will hope to find the right youngsters to make the Arsenal academy proud. He has already given Ethan Nwaneri his first team debut at the age of 15. Hence, it clearly shows that Arteta is not afraid of giving young players an opportunity to impress. Therefore, Louie Copley will also hope to have the same impact on the U-21 team.
