Arsenal are reportedly going to make a loan bid for Joao Felix in the January transfer window. Atletico Madrid are also open to loaning him out for the rest of the season.
However, the La Liga side will have to reduce their demands. This is because the La Liga giants are asking for a 21 million loan package for the rest of the season to loan him out.
ARSENAL AND JOAO FELIX TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
According to reports, Arsenal are going to make a loan bid for Joao Felix in the January transfer window. The report also claims that Atletico Madrid are also open to loaning him out for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta also likes the Portuguese forward. Hence, there is a chance of movement happening in the coming days of the transfer window. Transfer expert David Ornstein has also made the same point. However, he has said that the deal will need the patience to complete.
He further said,
“It will be interesting to see if Arsenal look to bring forward some business or get some other business done first,”. They are interested in Joao Felix at Atletico in a loan deal. If the numbers come down significantly from where they are now – and that’s why it’s not happening right now – then perhaps they’ll try and get that one in first.
However, there is also an indication that Arsenal are first focusing on completing the Mykhaylo Mudryk deal.
THE GUNNERS ARE PRIORITIZING THE SIGNING OF MYKHAYLO MUDRYK IN JANUARY
According to reports, Arsenal are prioritizing the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk in the January transfer window. The report also claims that Mikel Arteta would love to sign them both. This is because both of them would take the pressure of the current forward. It would also give Gabriel Jesus the right amount of time to recover from his injury. However, the numbers of both the deal at the moment do not make sense for Arsenal.
Shakhtar Donetsk are asking 90 million for Mykhaylo Mudryk. However, the Gunners are only willing to pay a total fee of 60 million. Whereas, the Joao Felix deal is also very complicated at the moment. Atletico Madrid are asking 21 million for only half of the season. They are also asking for a potential buy option of over 100 million. Hence, this deal is currently very expensive for Arsenal at the moment. Therefore, the Gunners will have to wait for the right time for the price to drop.
Mykhaylo Mudryk is trying his best to get the Arsenal move done in the January window. This is because it is a dream move for the Ukrainian winger. Whereas, the Gunners will have to convince Joao Felix to join the project. This is because the Portuguese forward would love to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
