According to reports, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Manuel Locatelli. The Italian midfielder currently plays for Juventus. However, the Italian giants are open to offers for the midfielder. The midfielder is currently on loan from Sassuolo. However, the deal is going will be made permanent at the end of the season.

The report also adds that Juventus have to compulsorily buy the midfielder at the end of the season. However, the midfielder has not had a great impact on loan. Hence, Juventus are open to selling him immediately for a profit. Therefore, there is a chance that Arsenal could return with an offer for the midfielder in the January or next summer transfer window.

THE GUNNERS DO NEED A MIDFIELDER LIKE THE ITALIAN

The Gunners need a new midfielder signing in January. However, they need to decide on a budget in January. Although, the major injury to Mohamed Elneny means Arsenal will have to sign a midfielder. They do not want to lose their good start to the season. Hence, they need the midfielder signing to improve their form.

There is another thing to put an eye on the Locatelli situation. The interest in Italian by the Gunners is not new. Arsenal were interested in signing him in past windows.
