ARSENAL AND MYKHAYLO MUDRYK TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
According to reports, Arsenal were reportedly interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. The reports also claimed that the Gunners enquired about him during the transfer window. However, injuries to the midfielders and his high price valuation changed their plans for the deadline day of the summer transfer window.
The reports claim that the Ukrainian side were demanding a fee in the region of 30 million. However, the valuation was deemed too high by the Gunners. Hence, they decided not to explore the move further. Although, it looks like Arsenal will be regretting the decision of not signing him. His brilliant performances in the Champions League will make his valuation increase further.
THE GUNNERS FANS FEEL THE CLUB HIERARCHY HAVE FUMBLED THIS DEAL
Mudryk again scored in the Champions League against Celtic. After the game, the Gunners fans took to Twitter to make their feelings clear. A fan said,
“We fumbled this one!! Should have paid whatever to get him!!!.
Many fans also said that the player will now be worth more than 60 million. While another fan said,
“At this point, other clubs are joining the race.
However, Arsenal must not be sad over missing on his signing. The Gunners themselves had a brilliant transfer window. They managed to sign Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Viera, Matt Turner, and Marquinhos. The new signings have helped them up their performances. They are currently on top of the Premier League. Their only loss came against Manchester United who defeated them 3-1.
However, Arsenal and Mikel Arteta may have missed a chance on signing a brilliant player. Mykhaylo Mudryk has scored two goals and provided three assists in five games this season in all competitions. Hence, the winger will no doubt be in demand in the January transfer window.
