Arsenal is “getting ready” to try to sign the 22-year-old defender next month.

Gonçalo Inácio, a defender for Sporting Club de Portugal, is someone Arsenal is “preparing” to try to buy during the January transfer window.

Arsenal is allegedly “tightening their siege” on the center defender and formulating a strategy to guarantee they win the competition for his signature, according to A Bola.

Arsenal is now in a position to proceed with a proposal for the player. Which they are aware will need to be worth €60 million, the player’s release clause. This is according to information provided by the publication.

With a string of strong performances over the last eighteen months. Inácio has grown into one of Sporting’s most sought-after players.
The major European clubs are keeping a close eye on him; this is especially true in the Premier League, where he has been repeatedly linked to multiple teams.

They would be powerless to stop him from leaving if a club met his release clause. But they consider a deal for him in January as non-negotiable, Arsenal is now able to accomplish this.
