Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has thanked David Moyes for making him mature as a person. He also credits him for making him a better manager.

The former midfielder played under David Moyes at Everton. Hence, the Spanish midfielder learned many traits of management under Moyes.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has thanked David Moyes for making him a mature human. The Spanish played under Moyes at Everton. Therefore, he also learned some traits of management under Moyes. Hence, Arteta got the assistant manager job under Pep Guardiola with Manchester City. Hence, Arteta has credited Moyes for helping him become a better coach.

He said,

“I think he made me a better person, made me mature in the earlier stages of my career,”. “I really liked how he managed the group as well as the individuals. He really installed a real belief around the club to be together all the time, to look after each other, and nobody was more important than the team. He really created a special atmosphere when we were together.”

David Moyes has also praised the performances of the Arsenal manager.

THE WEST HAM MANAGER HAS PRAISED THE PERFORMANCES OF THE GUNNERS

West Ham manager David Moyes was modest enough to not take the praise. He has instead praised Arteta for paying attention to every detail. The Hammers manager also calls him a diligent boy. However, he also praises him for properly developing the talented young players. He also criticized many pundits for criticizing the performances of the Arsenal manager.

The Hammers manager said,

It doesn’t surprise me. I used to listen to talk SPORT regularly and a lot of people on here were critical of Arsenal over the last few years.”

He further said,

I think Mikel had an idea of what he thinks it should look like. After working with Pep (Guardiola) for a few years and giving him that guidance on how to prepare a good team, it was just I felt that nobody was giving Mikel any credit whatsoever.

Hence, going by the comments of David Moyes, Arsenal have a brilliant manager that will develop their team for the next 5 or 10 years. West Ham are also flying high at the moment. They have started getting wins in the Premier League and are undefeated in the Conference League.
