Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has praised manager Mikel Arteta. This is after he was dropped to the bench against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

However, he was dropped to manage the workload of the midfielder during the busy schedule this season. Hence, the Swiss midfielder got the perfect rest.

THE RISE OF GRANIT XHAKA UNDER MIKEL ARTETA

Although, Arteta and Xhaka now think of these days as the old days. The Swiss midfielder is now a very important part of the team under Arteta.

He has played in all of the games in the Premier League. Xhaka has also captained the team in the Europa League. Many players including Gabriel Martinelli have praised the Swiss midfielder for helping them at the club. Hence, the Swiss midfielder is now one of the leaders in the Arsenal dressing room. The midfielder is also now helping the team going forward. He also remains defensively remains solid.

ARSENAL’S MANAGER IS MANAGING THE WORKLOAD OF THE PLAYERS SMARTLY

“I am feeling very good,” Xhaka said, as quoted by the. “Of course, every time you win it makes it a little bit easier. But, yeah, I am not worried about the minutes, or the World Cup, or the future. I don’t think it’s about my games at the moment. Really, I’m not thinking about a break. Mikel is the boss, he decides when to take me out and when not to. He did against Bodo, it was maybe perfect timing to give me a bit of a rest.
