ARSENAL AGAINST MANCHESTER UNITED POST MATCH REPORT

Arsenal started the match against United well. They took the game to Old Trafford. The attacking game almost paid off after Martinelli scored. However, the celebrations were ruined after the goal was ruled out due to a foul in the build-up. The Gunners kept on pressurizing the Red Devis. However, in the 35th minute, the new signing Antony scored his first goal in his first appearance for the club.

However, in the 60th minute, Bukayo Saka got the much-deserved equalizer for the Gunners. Although, the celebrations for Arsenal did not last much longer. Marcus Rashford gave Manchester United the lead back after a brilliant through ball from Bruno Fernandes. It was the same dose again in the 75th minute of the game. Fernandes threaded a perfect pass to Eriksen who left the ball to Rashford for a simple tap-in.

EDDIE NKETIAH SHOULD HAVE STARTED THE GAME

The Gunners tried to come back into the game. However, they were let down by some poor finishing. Also at times, Gabriel Jesus felt all one trying to create an impossible chance with two center-backs dominating him. Arsenal tried to come back through some intricate passing. However, at times the passes were too much and complicated their attacking.

Hence, many suggested that Eddie Nketiah should have started the game against Manchester United. The forward has looked dangerous for the Gunners in his cameos. However, he is yet to start a game for Arsenal. The finishing of Nketiah sometimes lacks. However, his hold-up play is brilliant. He could have used his hold-up play to complement the attacking forward Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal remains at the top of the table. However, all eyes will be on how they react to the next game after a disappointing defeat at Old Trafford. Mikel Arteta will be depending on his players to react in the best way by scoring more goals and conceding none.
