Chris Sutton has said that Arsenal should avoid signing Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo. The Red Devils are ready to sell him after his explosive interview.

Hence, the top clubs in Europe including the Gunners will be linked in January. Although, Sutton has advised the Gunners to avoid another Aubameyang situation.

THE EXPLOSIVE INTERVIEW OF CRISTIANO RONALDO WITH PIERS MORGAN

UK journalist Piers Morgan has confirmed that he is going to release the full interview with Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he has released some conversations of the video. In the short video, he has criticised the manager and ownership of Manchester United. Hence, the reports now claim that the Red Devils are ready to tear up his contract.

Hence, many top European teams were linked with him. The linked teams list also included Arsenal. However, no confirmation on the same has come. The report also confirms that Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag does not want him near the first team after the World Cup. Hence, the rumor of Arsenal is not going to slow down anytime soon.

ARSENAL TRANSFER LINKS WITH THE MANCHESTER UNITED’S STAR MAN FULL STORY

According to reports, Arsenal are one of the sides monitoring the situation. However, Chris Sutton has said on Twitter that the Gunners to stay away from the Ronaldo transfer. He has said that the Gunners must avoid Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s part 2 situation. Aubameyang in his last days for the Gunners became a problem in the dressing room. Hence, he was allowed to leave for Barcelona in the last season’s January transfer window.

Chris Sutton’s point is correct. This is because in both instances Ronaldo and Aubameyang have tried to show that their stature is bigger than the club. Hence, Arsenal must make sure to avoid signing Cristiano Ronaldo. At the moment, the current form of Ronaldo means that the clubs will only benefit commercially if anyone signs him.

However, Arsenal are currently targeting a right-winger and midfielder signing as a priority in January. So, the chances are almost zero that the Gunners try to sign Ronaldo. Another problem is Mikel Arteta is also trying to decrease the average of his squad.
