ARSENAL MANAGER MIKEL ARTETA IS ROTATING THE SQUAD VERY SMARTLY THIS SEASON

Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League this season. Many have credited the players for stepping up this season. However, many also say that Mikel Arteta is using the depth of his squad to his advantage. The experts have also said that Mikel Arteta is giving all the players in the first team a chance. Hence, no player in the Gunners squad is without match practice.

The rotation of the squad is going to be very important this season for Arsenal and other clubs. This is because FIFA World Cup in Qatar is also going to happen this season. Hence, the risk of injuries will increase this season. The Gunners have already got a number of players on the side-lines. Most notably the players are Mohamed Elneny, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Emile Smith-Rowe.

GABRIEL JESUS HAS LIKELY SURVIVED A MAJOR INJURY SCARE

According to reports, Gabriel Jesus will likely travel with the squad. This is a piece of positive news for Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans. The striker was substituted after getting injured in the win against Liverpool. Hence, many fans thought the injury was major. However, the report claims that it was a minor injury. Gabriel Jesus only had to miss the Europa League game against Bodo/Glimt.

Athletic writer David Ornstein has also confirmed the news. He said,

“I would imagine that he’ll be starting at Elland Road on Sunday,”

Ornstein said.

“He’s a very durable player, he doesn’t get tonnes of injuries, Gabriel Jesus, and he goes into some pretty meaty challenges!”.

Therefore, the Gunners fans will be happy to have their star striker available for the important fixture.

Arsenal were always going to have a hectic schedule this season. Hence, it was a brilliant decision by Mikel Arteta to give rest to his star players. The Gunners will now hope that Gabriel Jesus starts against Leeds United and scores the winning goal to keep them top of the Premier League table.
