Arsenal will have relatively easy fixtures in the Premier League compared to their rivals. Hence, they will hope to increase their distance from their lead at the top of the table.

The Gunners will also hope that they can fight with Manchester City for the title till the end. Hence, they will have to maintain their high-performance levels throughout the season.

ARSENAL WILL HAVE TO KEEP THEIR HIGH-PERFORMANCE LEVELS GOING TILL THE END OF THE SEASON

Arsenal will face Wolves in their last game before the World Cup. Mikel Arteta will hope that his players do not drop their performance levels during the break. Hence, the non-World Cup players will travel to Dubai for training during the break. They will also face the likes of top European teams in the friendly tournament in Dubai.

This trip will also give a platform to the youngsters and the fringe players to impress Mikel Arteta. It will also keep these players fit ahead of the January transfer window. Once the break ends, club football action will start on 26th December. Hence, from the 26th of December, Mikel Arteta will have to deal with Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League. He will also have to make the final decisions on arrivals and departures during the January transfer window.

THE GUNNERS WILL HOPE TO BE ON THE TOP OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE TABLE BEFORE THE BREAK

Arsenal will face the likes of Brighton and Wolves before the break for the World Cup. However, the game against Brighton will be for the Carabao Cup. Therefore, Mikel Arteta will likely play his backup players in the game. Although, he is going to play a strong team against Wolves in the Premier League. They will have to take Wolves seriously. Wolves are now under the management of Julen Lopetegui. Hence, the players will be full of energy under their new manager.

They will also hope to defeat the Gunners to get away from the relegation zone. Brighton will also be difficult. The Seagulls are the bogey team for Arsenal. After the World Cup break, they will face the likes of West Ham and Brighton in the Premier League. The Gunners are currently in a dogfight with Manchester City for the Premier League title. Hence, they will hope to be ahead in the dogfight after the World Cup break.

Arsenal will also hope that they can compete for the trophies in the cup competitions. The owners will also back Mikel Arteta in the January transfer window. Hence, there is every chance this season that the Gunners will qualify for the Champions League this season.
