THE ITALIAN MANAGER LOOKS LIKE THE PERFECT APPOINTMENT FOR THE SEAGULLS

Roberto De Zerbi seems like the perfect appointment for Brighton. When Graham Potter left the club for the Chelsea job, club chairman Tony Bloom made it clear that the club will appoint a new manager that believes in attacking football. They wanted to build on the base that Graham Potter had built for them. Hence, Roberto De Zerbi looks like another brilliant appointment.

He is known for his attacking football at Sassuolo, Benevento, and Shakhtar. However, he had to leave the job as Shakhtar due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Chairman of Brighton Tony Bloom also was delighted with the appointment. He said,

“I am absolutely thrilled Roberto has agreed to become our new head coach. Roberto’s teams play an exciting and courageous brand of football, and I am confident his style and tactical approach will suit our existing squad superbly.

Roberto De Zerbi will now have two weeks of the international break to organize the Brighton squad. They will then face Liverpool and Tottenham in the next two game weeks. Hence, it is going to be a difficult start for Roberto De Zerbi as the new head coach.
