Arsenal are reportedly going to evaluate the performance of Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan before making a move for Moises Caicedo. The Gunners also tried to sign Caicedo in the January transfer window.

However, they ended up signing Jorginho from Chelsea on the deadline day. The signing of Jorginho also helped Lokonga join Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.

ARSENAL AND MOISES CAICEDO TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

According to reports, Arsenal are going to make a bid for Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window. The Gunners also tried to sign him in the January transfer window. However, Brighton ended up rejecting two bids. The Seagulls also made it clear that they would not sell in the January transfer window. They also made it clear to Caicedo that leaving the club for him is not an option. This is despite his plea on social media to leave the club.

This is the reason Brighton told Caicedo to stay at home till the deadline day ended. However, a number of reports claims that Arsenal will try again in the next summer transfer window. Brighton are also ready to sell him for the right price. A report also claims that Moises Caicedo has agreed personal terms with the club. However, there is still one problem in the deal. The issue is the Gunners are keeping a close eye on the performances of Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan at Crystal Palace.

THE GUNNERS ARE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE SITUATION OF ALBERT SAMBU LOKONGA

According to reports, Arsenal are hoping that Albert Sambi Lokonga has a brilliant loan spell with Crystal Palace for the rest of the season. It is because the midfielder is not in plans for the future. Hence, the Gunners would like to receive a good transfer fee to sell him in the next summer transfer window. They wanted to sell him in the January transfer window. However, the permanent offers were not good enough. Hence, the Gunners had to loan him out to Crystal Palace.

Transfer expert Rudy Galetti has also given his view on the situation. He further said, “It’s an option; Arsenal strongly wanted Caicedo in the winter transfer session, but as we know, Brighton rejected two offers declaring him not for sale. “In the summer, they could try again for Moises Caicedo, but Arteta wants to make a final decision only after evaluating the performance of Sambi Lokonga, who is now on loan at Crystal Palace. Hence, it looks there is still a small chance for Lokonga to revive his Arsenal career.

At the moment, Arsenal are ready to spend big again in the next summer transfer window. A report has also claimed that they want to sign both Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo in the January transfer window. Hence, both of them combined will potentially cost them at least 200 million in the next summer transfer window. Therefore, it is clear that the Gunners owners have very big plans under Mikel Arteta for future.
