THE FUTURE OF MOHAMED ELNENY AT ARSENAL

According to reports, Arsenal will not sell Mohamed Elneny in the January transfer window. The report also claims that the midfielder will get more opportunities in the second half of the season. Mikel Arteta has made it clear that Elneny plays a big role in the dressing room. Fabrizio Romano has also shared some details about the future of Mohamed Elneny.

He said,

“It always depends on the opportunities. At the moment, there are no negotiations ongoing to sell Elneny for example; also, Arsenal will be busy with many competitions so it always depends on proposals… and let’s see if they will sign 1/2 players in January.

The Gunners have to make sure that they can keep Mohamed Elneny happy at the club.

THE EGYPTIAN MIDFIELDER IS GOING TO PROVIDE SQUAD DEPTH FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON

According to recent reports, Arsenal will try to sign a midfielder in the January transfer window. However, at the same time, there is a chance that Belgian midfielder Albert-Sambi Lokonga leaves on a permanent or loan deal. Hence, the Gunners will need cover to get through the second half of the season. After the Carabao Cup exit, they are still participating in the Premier League, Europa League, and FA Cup.

Hence, it is going to be a long schedule for the Arsenal players. Therefore, Mikel Arteta will need squad depth to provide cover for the major and minor injuries. Hence, players like Mohamed Elneny can step up for the squad. This type of player will also help them beat the potential lower league oppositions in the FA Cup initial rounds.

Arsenal will hope to use the experience of Mohamed Elneny on the field and off the field in the second half of the season. On the other side, Mohamed Elneny will hope to more game time in the latter part of the season. The Gunners are currently traveling to Dubai for a friendly tournament.
